A design proposal for the launch event and permanent exhibition venue of Cairo 2050. In 2010 the Egyptian government announced an ambitious multiphase urban planning and development project under the name of “Cairo 2050 vision”, a project that was supposedly going to solve the urban problems of the Egyptian capital, and reshape Cairo into a modern eco-friendly metropolitan city by the year 2050. The launch for Cairo 2050 Vision was to be through a mega launch event and permanent exhibition venue.
This design proposal was to develop an outdoor location to become the permanent expo forCairo 2050 Project. The expo was to be divided into 3 areas, first is an Entrance foyer area, followed by an outdoor promenade housing the 5 pavilions, each showcasing a segment of the Cairo 2050 planning project, ending with a mega exhibition area showcasing the full 1:1000 model of the Cairo 2050 planning project.
The design proposal for the event and exhibition area used inspirations from the urban fabric of Cairo, the timeline of the history and civilization of Egypt and the Architecture of the ultra-modern Cairo 2050 Planning project.

The initial design proposal & Final design for White Berry, a gourmet coffee and waffles shack in Heliopolis Club, in Cairo.
The initial design features a White Dibond facade and Acrylic logos, to give the clean cut image desired by the owners, the Final design however, was carried out with Black dibond framing of the white logo panel to accentuate it and to stand out amidst the bustling colorful shopping strip.

The Egyptian International Trading & Agencies Company (EIT) -Kia’s sole agent in Egypt– requested a design proposal for a Showroom for KIA Egypt Automotive in Mohandeseen area, Cairo. The brief requested the showroom to be designed according to KIA Brand guidelines.
The showroom is of atotal area of 325 m², showcasing 6 of the Korean car maker’s Range in Egypt, and housing two sales repersentatives, a meeting room and sevral lounge area. A design proposal for a Stand to Reveal the BMW 5 Series in Egypt, 2009, designed by Mohamed M. Radwan, under Lead Marketing Solutions.
The Design consists of 20 repetitive square frames which rotate 2.5 degrees each time, offering a play of solid & void, and using light to offer a pre-reveal glimpse of the 5 series.

This is the final design proposal for LINKdotNET store in Misr al Gedidah, el Thawra st. LINKdotNET is Egypt’s dominant ISP (Internet Solutions Provider), serving the Egyptian and Middle Eastern Internet markets with offices in Egypt, UAE and the KSA.
The store area is 330 m², housing a client services area, bill collection area, technical support are as well as LINKdotNET offices. The design was executed and was open to public in 2008, and the design proved successful to the extent that LINKdotNET adopted the design as part of its corporate identity, which they applied to many other stores in Cairo, most recently: LINKdotNET store in Maadi. “A new core, for the “Planet of Cairo”, to infuse it with new Energy”
The development scheme included creating an underground subway station, a 5 stars international hotel, a High rise Business Center, A premium Shopping mall, and a 360 IMAX theater, with adequate underground parking spaces, landscape and recreational facilities. The main criteria of the project was that it should to act as a new landmark for the Downtown area and initiate development there.
The concept of the design draws on Gravity, Layering, Central orbital forces, Connectivity, Organic morphing and Spirituality.
