Design: France Telecom (Orange) Exhibition Stand at Cairo ICT 2007

The final design of France Telecom exhibition stand in Cairo ICT 2007. France Telecom-Orange is one of the world’s leading telecommunications operators worldwide. Present in 35 countries, in Egypt, the group is consolidating Mobinil the leading mobile operator in the country. Orange owns a 71.25% interest in Mobinil (Mobinil Telecommunications S.A.E.), which in turn owns a 51.0% stake in Egyptian Company for Mobile Services (“ECMS”), which operates under the Mobinil brand. The remaining 28.75% of Mobinil are owned by Egyptian group Orascom Telecom.

The design draws on the lines of Asian Minimalism while attempting to incorporate a strong brand identity driven from “Orange” brand.

Live Photos: The Living Redesign!

The living room is one of the most essential spaces in any house, it were the residents spend most of there time, and where most of the daily activities taking place. That is why the living room acts is usually the focal point of the entire house and can leave a lasting impression (good or bad) on a visitor.

The living room also is the space where the true identity of the residents is expressed to the outsiders, because it is stripped from the formalities of the reception area, and yet not as intimate and private as the living quarters.

These are the photos of the living room of Mohamed Radwan, after it has undergone a radical redesign in 2008. The space was originally a living room-design studio-creative room, but then was redesigned to be just a “Living” room, literally! The fusion between Arabic Calligraphy and Minimal lines is one of the hallmarks of Z line DeZine, and the usage of Black, White and Red also. The Arabic text on the walls features verses from Qur’an and Arabic poetry by Khalil Gibran and Elia Abu Madi.

Design: Peugeot Show room

The final proposal for Peugeot Showroom in Misr el Gedidah. The showroom was designed to extend the hallmark image of Peugeot global brand spirit “Motion & Emotion”.

The showroom is of a total area of area was 608 m², and was designed to maximize the showcase area, while maintaining a neat, minimal outlook. The design of the stand seeks to emphasis the clean, sleek and contemporary image of the french auto maker.

Building on the same image of Emaar Next Move 2009 Stand, Emaar requested a design for the Exhibition Stand of Emaar Misr in Next Move 2010.

The Booth area was over 500 m², and was designed to express Emaar stature as the world class integrated real estate developer and life style provider in Egypt.

Post Construction Photos of Peugeot Stand at Formula Al Ahram 2011 in Cairo. In 2010 Peugeot, unveiled it’s new visual identity and global signature “Motion & Emotion”, with the objective of reinforce the emotion of driving a Peugeot. According to Peugeot the new brand image “Is clear and modern. A mixture of French and English which gives us an international breadth without disclaiming our roots.
The Stand area was 400 m², and the brief required that the stand would showcase the strong presence & Heritage of Peugeot cars in the Egyptian Market. One of the main functions of the Stand was the reveal of the Peugeot RCZ Sports Coupe to the Egyptian Market. The design of the stand seeks to emphasis the clean, sleek and contemporary image of the New-Peugeot. Read more…

Design: KIRA Exhibition Stand in Le Marché XXXI

Kira Egypt requested a design for an exhibition stand in Le Marché XXXI, 2011, Egypt biggest exhibition for furniture, home furnishings and accessories. Kirais a privately owned company founded in 1998, acting as a supplier for finishing and flooring materials for the Egyptian market.

The stand was of a total area of 56 m², and Kira requested the design to be divided into two attached areas, one for their stone finishing products, and one for the stretch ceiling fiber material.

The design offered a distinctive form for each section, emphasizing the properties of the showcased product, through form and texture.

Design: The Architecture of Spirituality – The Masjid of Purification

The final design proposal for the Purification Masjid – مسجد النقاء in 6th of October city.

The design concept statement is: Minimalism as an architectural translation of spiritualism

The design utilizes the use of spacious white spaces and uses the play of direct & indirect light to attain the spirituality and piety of prayers.

The design is carried out in linear longitudinal lines to accentuate the spiritual importance of the Qibla and achieve a direct visual connection between the Qibla’s horizontal axis (towards Mekka) and vertical axis (towards heaven).

The Vertical lines of the design are prominent, to  create a strong visual link with heaven and give a sense of aspiring heavenwards, furthermore, above the qibla, a skyline is present to achieve this visual link.

The Final Design for IGI Exhibition Stand at Next Move 2010, Egypt’s prime Real estate Show. IGI Real Estate is an Egyptian property investment and real estate development company. Founded in 1994, IGI Real Estate has been at the forefront of the local real estate market with successful developments such as Hay Al Ashgar and Gardenia Park.

The Booth area was 300 m², and it was designed to express IGI local market position as a prime real estate developer. The client requested that the booth would be modern yet elegant and simple, and that it would feature a great deal of transparency to offer a welcoming environment.

The design proposal of “State Plaza” Entrance and lobby area. The owners of State Plaza, a new Office Building in New Cairo’s Business district, required a design for proposal the building’s Entrance and lobby area. The lobby is almost of a total area of 180 m², and the design program includes a front desk, a lounge area and other services.

The owners wanted to stress the uniqueness of State Plaza, in providing premium office space & state of the art technology, to offer the best and most productive working environment. The owner also wanted to express the building’s identity. Read more…

Design: Damac Properties Exhibition Stand at Next Move 2008

The Final Design for the Exhibition Stand of Damac Properties Real Estate Developer at Next Move 2008 Real estate Show in Egypt. The client brief requested a welcoming booth setting that would express Damac’s Leading position in the Real estate market of the Middle East region, and to stress on Damac’s Futuristic, cutting edge, state-of-the-art approach to real estate development.

The Booth area was over 760 m² while the footprint of the cube structure alone was 120 m².

Design inspirations included: Sand Dunes formations in the Arabian Peninsula & Organic cell formations.
