Design: KIRA Exhibition Stand in Le Marché XXXI
Kira Egypt requested a design for an exhibition stand in Le Marché XXXI, 2011, Egypt biggest exhibition for furniture, home furnishings and accessories. Kirais a privately owned company founded in 1998, acting as a supplier for finishing and flooring materials for the Egyptian market.
The stand was of a total area of 56 m², and Kira requested the design to be divided into two attached areas, one for their stone finishing products, and one for the stretch ceiling fiber material.
The design offered a distinctive form for each section, emphasizing the properties of the showcased product, through form and texture.
In the Stone section the design was to achieve a “museum” look and feel, playing on dark colors, straight lines, and play of light on the displays. While the Stretch Cieling section, uses the Stretch material to create an ultra modern fluid flex form, to generate a striking contrast.
